Congratulations Mike winning the Big Fish Award. Many don’t know that a four pound smallmouth is considered a trophy fish . They are approximately 12 years old! Thats a long time. Mikes 5 pound plus giant could be older. Amazing. Another reason why the smallmouth is regarded as one of greatest little freshwater sport around. The smallmouth bass is very different from the Largemouth bass or the spotted. They relate differently in open then the other. Bassmaster and MLF are the greatest professional fishing circuits in the world and the competition is fierce. Earning the big fish is an honor and seeing the biggest fish of a tournament is even better!! #fishing #fishinglife
MLF Champion!! “ I just love the Dranckrazy Cutlass Spinning! It is the perfect open water drop shot. It’s super sensitive, so down shottin is just as easy from 10 ft to 40ft. I was really surprised with its sensitivity. Managing my fish in big water was also super efficient. The rod loaded well and the return of tension “played” the big bass perfectly. It didn’t try to over power the fish or collapse (bend too easily)…man it was perfect. I have been around a ton of smallmouth rods. This is definitely one my favorite. Its a really beautiful rod as well . I wish i had 6 of them. I promise I will be getting more. Im mean the whole series is great!! ![]()
